This is one of my favourite images of LTH-fontänen. It appears in an article in Lördags Expressen by Kurt Karlsson on October 11 1969 with the headline ...och i Lund läcker den nya fontänen! (...and in Lund, the new fountain leaks!)
"There is a storm around the 'water glasses' in Lund. Sweden's most expensive fountain (at least SEK 860,000) is now just over one year late."
Karlsson wryly concludes: "The fountain is meant to serve as a roof. There, one should be able to sit and read and listen to the waterfall rushing over head...But right now, it's the only place one can not sit. It rains there even when the sun is shining.
"Making a roof that seals tightly– that is art."
