Abstract: Where to begin with thinking about failure? Some lean against the rub of another relic? “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.” The LTH Fountain is a public artwork that is generally understood to have failed. Its enigmatic skeletal remains now stand amid Lund’s university campus buildings as a dimly perceived relic from a bygone moment of techno-utopian modernism.
